I'm Jess, a 29 (almost 30) year old Mama, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. I recently gave birth to our son, Timothy Reeves Jr. in October 2013. This blog has become a place for me to write about this new journey that I have been on since April 2013, when I lost my love, my husband Tim, in a tragic car accident. I was 10 weeks pregnant at the time. It has been an incredibly hard journey so far, and I know it is just getting started. However, God blessed Tim and I with a beautiful son. Little man is a living legacy of the love that we share. Timothy Jr. has brought so much joy in the midst of so much pain. I know I will see my husband again someday in Heaven and I know Timothy will get to meet his daddy, and I so look forward to that time. While I am still here, I plan on living out whatever plan God has in store for me. I will honor Tim by making sure Timothy Jr. knows everything about his dad and what a wonderful man he is, and we will be going on lots of adventures to live the life that Tim would have wanted for us.
Mr. Hiney
Tim is an incredible man. He is now in Heaven, and I'm not sure exactly what he is doing there, but I do know that he is a warrior king for Jesus. I know that he is happy and whole, and I know that we will all see him again. I am so excited to spend eternity with this man! Tim loves adventures, is kind, wise, and loyal. He was an incredible cook, loved coffee and microbrews, and doing anything outdoors. He loved our pup, McKinley, and was excited about our little one on the way. He loves his family and friends, and he loves me. I am so blessed to have been his love for 14 years here on earth.
Little Man
Timothy Reeves Jr. was born on October 26th, 2013. He was 6 days early. He is an incredible baby, very sweet and snuggly, and only cries when he is hungry. He looks just like his daddy, which I could not be more happy about. I feel like he has been here forever, and I am so blessed to have this little man in my life and am forever grateful to Tim and to God for allowing me this blessing. I have always wanted to be a mom, and while this isn't the way I imagined it, I am so thankful that I get the chance to be Mama to our child.

We started dating in March of 1999 - he was in 8th grade and I was a Freshman in high school. He proposed in August of 2010, and I was still surprised even though it was a long time coming! We were married 6 months later on February 13th, 2010. We honeymooned in Mexico, then moved ourselves to Boulder,Colorado. We spent a year and a half enjoying mountain life, and then moved back to CT for his job. We bought our home in September of 2012, got our pup in November of 2012, and found out we were pregnant in February of 2013.
