I was in 5th grade (I know, I believed for a LONG time), and I broke an American Girl watch that Santa had given me and felt horrible because I had heard a rumor that he wasn't real, and I felt bad for breaking something that my parents had given me. I made them tell me the truth. It was a bad day haha.

  1. I'm with you on the best gift: hanging out w/ friends and fam. And, yes, caroling at the gazebo is surely a unique tradition. We've actually never encountered anyone else in the act though perhaps we've inspired a few. I still remember the first time I learned Santa wasn't real -- it was in a church service! This is inspiring me to get the tree decorated that's standing in the corner of our dining room. It's my project for the day.
